The Story Behind GALATT
How GALATT was born — and where it’s headed.
Founded in 2022 with the support of many people through social media.
Through Orphanages, welfare programs, and community projects, we are building systems that empower the next generation to stand on their own.
Your support can turn this vision into reality.
Together, let’s create the next chapter of this story.

About Us
We're Non-Profit Organization based in Nasushiobara, Japan.
The name “GALATT” comes from the Japanese expression “garatto” (ガラッと), which means to change something boldly and from the ground up.
Our concept centers on changing the norms of welfare.
By challenging conventional approaches, we create new forms of social work and expand the options available to children.
We also place great importance on creating an environment where staff can work with a sense of hope and purpose.
We are committed to bringing innovation to social work.

Mission
We build social systems that enable children and young people from difficult family backgrounds to become self-reliant members of society.
We also work to create communities where all children can grow up healthy, safe, and supported.
What We Do
At GALATT, we support children’s health, growth, and journey toward independence.
Our Orphanages
We operate two orphanages for young people aged 15 to 19 preparing for independent living. Each home offers a safe, family-like environment to build life skills alongside school and work.
For those aged 20 and over, we provide rented apartments to practice independent living with continued support.
Children's Cafeteria
GALATT runs a community children’s cafeteria, held twice a month, providing warm meals and opportunities for growth in a safe and welcoming space for local children.
