Empowering Youth for a brighter future
How GALATT was born — and where it’s headed.
Through self-support homes, welfare programs, and community projects,
we are building systems that empower the next generation to stand on their own.
Your support can turn this vision into reality.
Together, let’s create the next chapter of this story.

In 2017, I volunteered in Indonesia and Nepal, and in 2018, I traveled alone across the African continent. What I witnessed there was heartbreaking-street children begging for money and homeless people with disabilities eating discarded food from the streets. Standing before such harsh realities. I felt deep disappointment in myself and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness. That experience led me to make a vow: One day, I will become someone who can truly support children and people with disabilities living in difficult circumstances.
After returning to Japan, I worked at a welfare facility for people with disabilities.
Seeing how hard they worked despite their challenges reminded me of the true value of welfare and social work.
At the same time, I also witnessed exhausted staff members losing hope in harsh working conditions.
That's when I made another promise to myself - Someday, I will build a welfare organization where staff can work with pride and dignity.
Through social media, I began connecting with people all over the world, and those connections gave me hope.
With the support of many people, I established GALATT, a non-profit organization in Japan.
In 2023, we opened our first orphanage, "Nikotto", followed by our second, "Flat".
This story is a miracle born from the lessons I learned in Africa and Asia, my experiences working in Japan, and the connections I have made with people around the world. I hope to pass this journey on to the next generation and continue spreading hope for the future.
The Story Behind GALATT

Providing local children with nutritious meals and opportunities to grow.
2026 ― Bento Shop
Opening a bento shop that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
2026 ― Cat Shelter
Establishing a rescue cat shelter in the orphanage's garden.
2027 ― Third Orphanage
Opening an apartment-style orphanage.
2028 ― Support base for youth independence
Supporting young people who are struggling in society.
2029 ― After-School Service

Each project connects to the next, forming a cycle of care where children, youth, and adults grow together.
Vision for 2030
From 2030 to 2040, we plan to establish 20 orphanages across developing countries.
Our vision is to create self-sustaining orphanages that can operate through the income generated by visitors from around the world.
This project was born out of the painful experience of standing before street children in Africa and Asia-reaching out for help-yet realizing there was nothing I could do for them.

Our Mission
We are committed to revolutionizing the concept of social work.
Our goal is to build a support system that empowers children and young people from difficult family backgrounds to become self-reliant members of society.
We are also working to create communities where all children can grow up healthy, safe, and supported.
Our Orphanages
We currently run two orphanages for teenagers (15-19 years old) who cannot live at home.
We support their education, employment, mental health, and independent living.
We also work with disability welfare services to support teenagers with disabilities, whose numbers have been increasing.
Using our original GALATT Currency, they can earn and spend points through daily efforts-learning the joy of growth and self-reliance.
Our operations are supported by the prefectural government, ensuring stability and individualized care.

What We Do
At GALATT, we provide a safe and supportive environment for young people transitioning to independence. Our programs focus on essential life skills, education, and emotional well-being.

Youth Support Homes
At GALATT. we operate two Youth Support Homes for young people aged 15 to 20 who are preparing for independent living. Each home offers a safe family-like environment where residents can develop life skills, continue their education, and build emotional resilience as they transition into adulthood.

Children's Cafeteria
GALATT runs a community children's cafeteria that provides nutritions meals and a warm, welcoming space for local children in need. This initiative supports children's physical and emotional well-being and helps strengthen community connections.

Even after leaving the home, we continue to offer aftercare support to help them stay connected, overcome challenges, and thrive independently.
In addition to residential care, we run a community children's cafeteria, offering nutritious meals and a welcoming place for local children.
Through these efforts, we aim to build a more inclusive and compassionate society-one where every young person can grow with dignity, resilience, and hope.

At GALATT, we believe in the potential of every young person.
Through safe housing, life skills training, and community
